1: Why do I need a web site of my own?

4: Can I have more than one domain name?
It is possible to have more than one domain name point to your website, and it is actually advisable if you are in the midst of switching domains so that you don’t lose valuable traffic. We can set one of your domain names to redirect to the website where your primary domain name is assigned. 5: How long does it take to get my site online?

An iHOUSE web site comes pre-loaded with local and national searches for homes, useful information for buyers and sellers, real estate news, local school, city, and community info, and more. 6: I want to make changes to my site: How do I do that?
It couldn’t be simpler to make changes to your site. Make changes 24 hours a day, and from wherever you happen to be, using your personal iHOUSE Admin password. Our iEDIT system lets you go online and quickly and easily modify most everything on your site. iEDIT instructions are written in plain English, so you don’t need to have any special technical expertise to make the changes you want to make.
7: How do I get my photos and logos loaded onto my web site?
Once again, nothing could be easier than uploading your graphic files to your iHOUSE Web site! All the major types of graphic files (.jpg, .gif, .bmp) can be uploaded with a click of a button. Our system will ask you for the file location on your computer, and automatically size your photo correctly.
8: I already have an email address: Can I still use it?

Webmail/POP3 Email
All iHOUSE accounts include the ability to set up POP3 email, allowing you to use your registered domain name as your email address: yourname@yourdomain.com. Access your mail using the email program you like best: Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Netscape, etc. Away from your own computer? No problem. Your iHOUSE email account can be accessed via your own personal webmail account anywhere you can get online. Just log into your webmail address at webmail.yourdomain.com and send, receive, and manage your email.
Email Forwarding
By creating an email alias, or mask, that uses your domain name, all your incoming email can be automatically directed to your current email account. For instance, if your domain is johnbroker.com, you can set up an alias buyers@johnbroker.com that forwards to your email address with another provider. We’ll do it for you, and you’ll be reading and sending mail as usual. This gives you the freedom to change email accounts in the future: as long as you don’t change this alias, you’ll never have to worry about reprinting those business cards!
Before we can create an alias for you, you must already have an email account established with an Internet access provider. Don’t have one? No problem. Just go to hotmail.com, yahoo.com, or any other free service and sign up for an account.
9: Do all iHOUSE sites look the same?
