Release Notes – 2015.03.26

 March 26, 2015

New Features

  • Combo Search Box
All quick search widgets and pages: the “City” input has been replaced with a “Location” input that searches across several location types at once. As you type, it will “autocomplete” with a menu of options including: city, zip, county, subdivision, and street address. You can also use it to search by MLS# by prefixing the number with a pound sign “#”, though it will not autocomplete these.

Bug Fixes

  • Dropdown Navigation Gap
Fixed an issue where there was a small gap on the dropdown navigation menu the would cause it to disappear on mouse over.

  • Gallery Widget fix for images
Some images in the gallery widget had heights that were not being contrained properly.

  • “Status” value handling for Agent vs Office accounts
The last release broke how statuses were shared between Office sites and their contingent Agent sites. This has been restored back to status quo.

  • Save Listing Button
Changed the “Save Listing” functionality to be the same for both the listing “Results” and listing “Details” pages. If the website visitor is not logged in yet, they will be redirected to the registration page.

  • Saved listing notification subject change
The subject line for notifications of endusers saving listings was improved.

  • Fix thumbnail in map tile for featured listings
When custom photos were uploaded and then reordered for a listing, the wrong “feature” image was being shown for the thumbnail of that listing when it appeared in a map “info window”.

  • File delete issue fixed
Deleting files with characters that would have been url encoded was failing.

  • Alphabetize agent control fixed
The alphabetize control on the agent directory page was not clickable.

  • Photo Uploader Fixes
The new photo uploader had a few bugs with uploading and deleting images. There is better error handling now for common error cases like when the file was too big.

  • Consistency in enduser “phone required”
The “require phone number” setting logic now only applies to the front-end facing website where visitors must enter it to register. It was also inappropriately being enforced in the back-end LeadTracker interface where the website owner manually entered contacts.

  • Improved saved search page loading
When loading a saved search, the website now looks for an associated saved search page to use instead of a generic results view.
  • Don’t show “new” tag on closed listings
Some listings with a closed status were still showing a “new” tag, creating an odd clash with the “sold” tags.
  • Fix display of MLS number on print flyer
In a previous release, the MLS number was inadvertently hidden on the print flyer view.
  • Housetrack Email default subject improved
Previously, the default subject for Housetrack emails was poorly built.
  • Listing map homepage widget default map type
The listing map homepage widget wasn’t respecting the default map type option from the map settings screen in the admin menu.
  • Clarify zoom level to save on map settings page
It was unclear exactly what zoom level was being saved, making it appear at times as though the setting was broken.
  • Better use of half bath data in syndication feeds
Where available and possible, we are making better use of half bath data when building syndication feeds.
