Release Notes – 2017.09.21

 September 21, 2017

Updates

  • New Default sorting for Sold Listings
Default sort order for sold listings was “days on site – new to old.” This is not the appropriate setting for most people who want recently sold properties first. Changed default sort order to “sold date – new to old”
  • Kill Zillow/Trulia syndication
The official cutoff date for Zillow’s syndication has arrived and we are no longer syndicating to Zillow or Trulia
  • Banner slideshow improvements
For all of our newest templates, banner slideshow whitespace has been eliminated. Each image will expand as little as possible to cover the full slideshow container, while maintaining the correct aspect ratio on all screen sizes.
  • Removed hyperlink underlines
Some of our newest templates have global link underlining. Customer feedback indicates that link underlining is not wanted, so we have updated the newest templates to remove these underlines
  • Removed padding from header in city series templates
We have eliminated as much padding as possible within the sticky navigation header to minimize the amount of screen that gets covered when scrolling
  • City Series template social icon colors
For all “city series” templates, social icons in the header section matched the header background color exactly. These templates have been updated to have darker icons in the header for better contrast
  • Added to and from logging for template changes
When a website changes templates, we will now log details for both the old and the new templates. This makes it easier to identify and restore past designs
  • Pretty URLs migration tool removed
The Pretty URL migration tool has been disabled, as it has been deprecated for a while now.

Bug fixes

  • Meta title fixed on customer login screen
The meta title of the new KeyCloak login screen was malformed with exposed HTML. This has been fixed.
  • Password Reset Error
Fixed a rare case where the user unlink function was breaking the database when called from the agent directory
  • Unwanted MLS Disclaimers in Content vs Footer
MLS disclaimers will now show in the footer for most contexts.
  • Enduser Save Listing Broken (dev only)
Recent infrastructure upgrades broke enduser saved listings in our dev environment. This bug was corrected before reaching the production environment.
  • STG Admin Menu – LeadTracker Settings Updated Bug
After saving LeadTracker settings in the stage environment, there was no green confirmation message until after navigating to a new page. This has been fixed.
  • Password creation for child accounts failing
Some office agents were unable to log into the admin menu after resetting their passwords. This issue has been fixed.
  • Agent Profile listing status filter
When setting a listing status filter on the agent profile screen, the filter was saved for the purposes of listing display, but it was not shown on the agent profile screen. This is fixed.
  • Manage status screen – add status button
The Add Status button was broken on the Manage Statuses page in LeadTracker. Note that this page currently only shows for existing customers (not for new customers).
Statuses will be changing soon to a fixed set of values, at which point this page will be eliminated completely.
  • Profile listing pagination
An error when agent profile listings expanded to 2 pages has been resolved
  • Header widget stacking bug
Header widgets were being added in a row instead of a column after some recent template styling changes. This has been fixed.
  • PW reset emails expire too soon
Password reset emails were set to expire after 5 minutes, but this was too quick for some of the slower email clients. The time-out duration has been extended to 15 minutes
