Release Notes – 2015.10.29

 October 29, 2015

New Features/Updates

  • Auto-Post Listings to Facebook
When you have an attached Facebook account, every time your website detects that you’ve added a new listing, it will automatically post it to your Facebook page.

  • Blog Facelift
We’ve updated the look and feel of our blog.

  • Omnibox can now search by Area
This is in addition to the ability to search by city, county, address, zip, subdivision, and MLS number which were already there.

  • Search Restrictions by Subdivisions
A search restriction allows your website to limit the searchable listing data to a smaller set instead of the full set available from the MLS/IDX. Previously you could restrict searches by state, county, and city. Adding subdivisions is useful for those agents who have a very narrow focus on only certain subdivisions within a city and only want to show listings from their target market on their site.

Bug Fixes

  • Phone Numbers from MailChimp not importing as expected
Previously phone numbers were not importing from MailChimp into LeadTracker consistently. This has been fixed.

  • Use address instead of MLS number in subject for Tell A Friend
Where allowed, we will now use the address of a property rather than the MLS number in the suggested subject line for the tell a friend form.

  • Disable textareas when previewing custom form embed widgets
The preview visible when editing the style of a custom form was not disabling textareas.

  • Format file sizes in file manager for Google storage files
After the migration to Google storage, file sizes were not being formatted to be human readable.

  • Remove unnecessary touch events from banner slideshow
On mobile devices, slideshow banners were acting as “sand traps”, preventing any vertical swipes that happened over them from scrolling the page up and down.

  • Fix file manager for accounts with no files
Recent changes related to Google storage broke the file manager for accounts with no files uploaded.

  • Updated email to reflect the fact that testdrives require passwords now
An outdated testdrive welcome email was erroneously promising that the customer would be automatically logged in to their account.

  • Fix image URLs provided for Facebook sharing
In certain cases og:image tags were being prepared as protocol agnostic URLs, which Facebook didn’t allow.

  • Default news link changed to realtor.com/news for iHouse Classic
The old link we were using, realtytimes.com, contained links to sites with malware, so we replaced it.

  • Problems with saved search criteria
    Two problems:
    a) the Search Description on the results page didn’t reflect Sub-type if selected.
    b) the advanced search page got confused if multiple property types contained the same sub-type. This resulted in the Modify Search “remembering” a subtype even if you unchecked it.
