Release Notes – 2019.07.11

July 11, 2019

Updates

  • Similar Listings Carousel
On the listing details page, at the bottom, there is now a similar listings carousel, and also search links to various location types that match the listing.
  • Sort by Proximity
Note that for the above similar listings carousel, it sorts the similar listings by proximity (near to far) from the reference listing. This proximity sort option has also been added to the radius search, where there is also a center point that can be used as a reference point
  • Testimonials Carousel Widget
The testimonials widget now has an option to turn it into a carousel, powered by the same react technology as our new IDX. To enable the carousel, check the box that says “display testimonials widget as carousel”.

Bug Fixes

  • “Home page” showing in Facebook share post
We now omit “Home Page” from the homepage title Open Graph tags so that you do not see the text “Home Page” preceding your website meta title
  • Map zooms in too close
Adjusted max zoom so that it does not zoom in too close when only a single listing is mapped.
  • IDX graphics bugs for older iOS
Fixed some graphics issues that affected older iOS devices
  • IDXv5 vs IE11
We have added the necessary JS polyfills to get our IDX search and IDX components working in IE11.
  • IDX placeholder tiles regressed
Restored elitev5 placeholder cards for the Grid and Carousel widgets to eliminate screen jumping when server-side placeholders disappear and client-side cards are still loading.
  • CSV lead importer locking up
Our CSV Lead Importer now has better handling for duplicate contacts which previously would break the import process.
  • Ampersand in listing details
Fixed issues with special characters being displayed in the labels of listing details on react templates.
  • FontAwesome icons are broken
To prevent this from happening again, we are now loading FontAwesome Icons from a better / more reliable CDN
  • Zoom controls missing
Map Zoom controls have been restored
  • Intermittent zero results glitch
Fixed issue with search results intermittently getting removed.
  • Touching mobile map marker resets search mode to “cards”
Closing listing detail modal in mobile view goes back to correct view
  • Left carousel chevron points wrong way on iOS
The left arrow / chevron for the carousel component points to the right on some iOS devices (including iPhone 8) due to an unsupported “transform” on the SVG icon. Updated chevron controls to use distinct “left” and “right” SVG icons instead of relying on a transform to “flip” the arrow
