Bug Fixes

  • Nav Menu FOUC
During page load, a script runs to check the main nav menu to see if it contains too many links. If so, it creates the “More” navigation group to contain the overflow. However, during this time, before the fix completes, the nav links may appear to wrap below the navigation menu, causing a flash of unstyled content (FOUC). To prevent this, the nav menu is given a style of overflow:hidden until the nav fix script has finished. The navigation drop down menus are also hidden during this initial loading time.

  • Custom Slideshow Widget (e-release 1/25)
The javascript for the custom slideshow widget was mistakenly removed during the upgrade of the listing slideshow widget, causing all instances of them to disappear.

  • Map Search Default Sorting
The new sorting select box on the map search page was not respecting the Admin Menu setting for default sort order.

  • Ugly Banner Search Overlay Select Boxes (e-release 1/25)
The select boxes on banner search overlay use a javascript trick allowing our web designers to style them consistently across browsers. With the last code release, two different versions of that script were both operating on them at the same time creating malformed html. Select boxes on the Quick Search and Advance Search pages were also affected.

  • File Manager – Moving/Renaming Causes Broken Images
Images that are in use by a website break when moved or renamed because the URL of the image changes. We’ve added warnings to the file manager to let customers know that moving or renaming a file that’s being used by their website will break it.

  • Featured Listing Maps Only Displaying 10 Listings
Featured listing map widgets on agents’ sites were previously only displaying the first 10 featured listings. This has been updated so that all of the featured listings will appear on the featured listing map widget.

  • Map Search Results Display
The results pane of the map search was not working as expected. The featured listings were getting repeated after every 20 results in the results list and not all of the listings on the map were showing in the results sidebar. This has been fixed.

  • Blank Maps
A small number of sites were displaying blank white maps on listing pages. This was caused by them having a legacy value of “hybrid” for the custom location map type. These sites were updated to use “terrain” as the default map type.

  • Unable to Delete Broken Banner Images
The list of banner images was occasionally getting out of date on a small number of agent sites and these agents were unable to delete broken image links that were displaying in the banner slideshow. A fix has been applied so this won’t happen in the future.

  • Fix save listing javascript (e-release)
Recent code cleanup broke the save listing javascript code in certain contexts.

  • Baths formatting for Facebook titles
Open graph meta titles for listings were always using “bath math” (e.g. 1.5 baths) when presenting bath counts, instead of respecting the user’s admin menu display setting.

  • Fix routing for IDXPro embed app
The new nginx hosting environment broke the ability to embed IDXPro in a site with a URL that ends in .php.

  • Lead Assignment Email Notifications
There was a case where email notifications were not being sent to an office account when a lead was assigned to one of its agents.

  • Lead Track Emails Not Working
Continuation – previously, the round-robin assignment of leads was fixed, but the problem of sending out the notifications had to wait for a release. It is now fixed.
