5 Real Estate Pros to Follow On Snapchat

You’re not afraid of trying new marketing tools for your business. You’re already on Instagram and you’ve dipped your toes into Facebook Live. But something is holding you back on Snapchat. Part of it is the big question: How does it all work and what is the best way to use it? If you’re still unsure of what to do on Snapchat, follow these five real estate professionals to get some ideas from people who are using the social platform well.

Michael Meier is a broker in New York City educating other real estate professionals about Snapchat. You could sit through his class, improbable if you live in another time zone, or you can follow him on Snapchat. Many of his snaps are tips and tricks for real estate professionals. He offers what he calls #Snapucation seminars to help you figure out Snapchat.

Alex Wang – @HelloAlexWang

Alex Wang is a Realtor in Silicon Valley who closed $50 million in sales in 2015 alone. He’s an avid Snapchat user and an example of one way to be successful at it. His snaps are a mix of everyday life and real estate business. He and several other agents form a group called the Snappack gang where they trade Snapchat tips to help each other get better on the platform.

Chelsea Peitz – @chelsea.peitz

While not a real estate agent, Chelsea Peitz is a marketing professional who works in the real estate industry in Tempe, Arizona. She snaps every day and most of which are tips and tricks on how to use Snapchat effectively in your real estate business. Her Snapshow is called Marketing Snappily Ever After and is a must for any real estate professional new to the platform.

A real estate professional based in Spokane, Washington, Marianne Bornhoft loves and believes in the power of Snapchat. She’s spoken at Inman about the platform and is happy to share her knowledge. Her snaps are mostly about her everyday life which is an excellent way to connect with an audience on Snapchat.

Shannon Milligan was an early adopter of Snapchat in her market – Richmond, Virginia. She shows off her love of real estate, her love of being a mother, and what it means to be a Mompreneur. Follow her for a great example of how to mix your business and personal life on Snapchat and gain a following.

When trying a new marketing tool or social media platform, you don’t want to copy anyone word for word. The point of these platforms is to be yourself.
