Updates

  • Email marketing opt-in changes
MailChimp recently changed their double opt-in requirements for email marketing to a single opt-in system. We’ve updated our integration to match. End result – it’s a lot easier to subscribe contacts to your list and email them now. The “opt in to marketing emails” setting is under full control of the agent and can be edited at any time. It’s ON by default. If the subscriber uses the unsubscribe link in an email to explicitly opt out, this will supersede the opt in setting.
  • Capture leads from unknown callers (TurboLeads setting)
This setting in TurboLeads was responsible for a lot of junk leads – so we recently changed the default to be OFF and also turned it OFF for ALL existing customers. Some important clarification about what this setting does:
ON – When an unknown phone number (not already in Contacts) calls the Twilio number attached to the TurboLeads account, it creates a new contact and tries to connect the call.
OFF – When an unknown phone number (not already in Contacts) calls the Twilio number attached to the TurboLeads account, the call is blocked, the caller hears a beep and is then disconnected. No contact is created.
There may be a few customers that actually want to give out their Twilio number as part of marketing materials and be able to capture new contacts using it. If so, just turn this setting back on.
  • Repeated registration prompt setting (stage)
Behavior for teaser registration for modal registration (currently in beta testing) will trigger every X listing views rather than being triggered on every listing after the first X listing views.
  • TurboLeads – Boomtown Integration
Lead metadata should now be properly attached to all lead notification emails from TurboLeads, ensuring smoother integration with third party services like Boomtown.

Bug Fixes

  • Leads not auto-assigning to owning agent
Some accounts weren’t properly using the newly relocated setting for lead assignment via featured listing forms.
  • Agents can not edit bio on office profile
Non admin agents will now be able to edit their own bio information.
  • Leads being auto-assigned to wrong agents
In certain circumstances TurboLeads was assigning new leads improperly. Once such issues has been corrected.
  • Registration form ‘opt in’ not checked by default (stage)
Marketing opt-in inputs in custom forms should now be properly pre-checked in modal contexts.
  • CSV Import Physical Address
TurboLeads CSV imports were not properly adding city, state, or zip to address fields on newly created contact records.
  • Register Button top Right not working
Several templates had broken register buttons.
  • TL IMAP does not support GoDaddy email
TurboLeads IMAP integration should now support legacy GoDaddy email customers.
