Release Notes – 2018.09.27

 September 27, 2018

Updates

  • TurboLeads Form Auto-Assignment Rules
For Office websites only – for each of its custom forms you can specify an agent so that any new leads captured by that particular form will be auto-assigned to that agent. Note that the auto-assignment only pertains to new leads. If that contact already exists and is already assigned to a different agent, then the currently assigned agent is the one who will receive the notification email about the form submission.
  • TurboLeads website context for HouseTracks
With some of our larger “reseller” type accounts, sometimes when we or an agent setup HouseTracks on behalf of an enduser, they would be created within the wrong website context – at the broker website instead of the child website. This has been fixed and the data for previously created HouseTracks cleaned up.
  • Social Media Login
A few weeks back we had to disable social media login (Facebook, Google) because major security software (Norton, Kasperski, …) was flagging our websites as security risks. We were trying to use a single generic app for all customers. This also meant that we had to use generic branding when asking for permissions. Going forward, turning on social media login will require the creation of a unique app for each account we want to enable. We won’t need to collect any customer credentials for this. Instead, we can create the apps on our account, fill out a few fields for the customer’s business name, privacy/tos links, and upload their logo – then copy and paste the resulting app id and key into our Elite website admin UI. The code for the integration is going out with the release. We have a preliminary process worked out (for Facebook only) and will start testing in Production after the release. After we’re satisfied that everything is working as intended, we’ll begin mainstreaming this for all new accounts and for any existing customers who want the feature.
  • Optimized meta data on listing pages
Customer suggestion. Removed the word “Listing” from meta titles and adjusted meta description to read “View photos and details for ….”
  • Increase Page Name Max Chars
Database migration – extended Page name column to 160 chars
  • Add New Agent Card to Widget Content Templates
Two new content templates are available for customer service agents and web builders for constructing agent and office contact info blocks.

Bug Fixes

  • FB post title pulling office name instead of page URL
Added a facebook message option to go along with facebook posts. Default is blank, use “{link}” to add a link in the message.
  • XML sitemap headers missing content type
XML content type header added to sitemap.
  • Lead source in notification email
New lead notifications were not properly reporting their website source in some situations. This has been fixed.
  • IE11 issue with Parallax
Parallax banner slideshow was not rendering properly in Internet Explorer. We’ve added some special styling to fix the IE problems
  • No option for custom notification address on Form pages
Office customers can now configure custom forms to auto assign newly collected leads to a specific user in TurboLeads.
  • Past traffic report not showing totals above graph
Visit totals should now be showing for dates older than 13 months.
  • Unable to create manual leads in TL
Fixed an issue where lead creation and assignment were broken in some circumstances.
  • TL lead assignment error
Fixed an issue where lead creation and assignment were broken in some circumstances.
  • Listing flyer button problems in Outlook
The listing flyer “more information” buttons were not rendering properly in the Outlook 2016 and 2019 desktop applications. Button markup has been adjusted to work with those applications
  • Omnibox Location menu overlap
“New” badges on homepage listing widgets were overlapping the search overlay location suggestions dropdown. This has been fixed
  • Agent card overlaps on IE
Some flexbox values on the agent card were incompatible with Internet Explorer, causing text overflow and overlap in some cases. These values have been changed to eliminate the IE problems
