Release Notes – 2022.09.29

 September 29, 2022

Highlights

  • Flex content management updates
A number of new updates were made to the new flex content management system thanks to very helpful testing and feedback during the previous release cycle. Stay tuned for updates soon about next steps for testing and rollout.
  • A new setting to control whether listing details open in modal windows
Although we continue to feel strongly that the UI/UX of opening listing details in a modal window is a preferable behavior for the majority of users and circumstances, we have implemented a setting so that customers who would prefer a full page change (ie, so that details are displayed a bit more “full screen”) can choose that behavior if they wish.
  • Rental availability date display
Users who have the “Show status on listing cards” setting enabled will now see rental availability dates displayed in the same when coming soon dates are on listing cards, assuming the data is available from the MLS.
  • Updates for the control panel listing lookup tool
We've added some additional data to to the control panel listing lookup tool to reduce reliance on various other tools that occasionally have issues with large data sets.

Updates

  • Control whether listing details open in a modal or not
Added a setting to disable the use of modal windows when loading listing details.
  • Rental Listings availability date
Rental listing with availability date data will now display it on listing cards when "Show status on listing cards" setting is enabled.
  • Update cloud functions to Node 14 runtime
Cloud functions for keyword management and css compilation have been updated to run on node 14.
  • AL-BAOR pool keywords
Improved various pool related keyword search mappings for AL-BAOR.
  • CA-MRMLS - BeachFront Keyword
Improved mapping for "beach front" keyword search term on CA-MRMLS.
  • Print Flyer page-break issue
Our printable flyers would sometimes break at an unfortunate place, causing agent profile images to be chopped in half. This has been fixed

Bug fixes

  • Agent pages blank, java console errors
Fixed an edge case in the new agent profile group presentation feature that could break the display of an agent profile.
  • Navigation text overlay showing on all pages
The “homepage only” nav text overlay block was rendering on subpages, but for most accounts this was white text on a white background, and went unnoticed. An account with a dark background pointed out this bug, and we have now fixed it.
  • Subpage IDX widget overlap
A measurement was being done in Javascript that did not take into account the fact that the REM units might vary when someone has customized fonts via the styling engine. This has been corrected.
